At it’s earliest unveiling, the robot was armed with a robotic vacuum cleaner, three small hand tools and an orange plastic cup. The robot is so named due in part to a simple statement on the rear body, which reads “googly googly” (the slogan used on the top of its robot). The robotic arm was made by UK robotics company iRobot. The robot was originally designed to be an interesting addition to the Stop and Shop at locations across the United Kingdom but has since been found on every Stop and Shop within the United States. Each of the robots comes with built-in cameras, which allow it to follow customers’ every move. The robotic arm is completely wireless and is programmed to return to a clean store when it is done shopping.

This year, the robot rolled out at the world-famous Stop & Shop in New York City. It’ll remain there until December 11.
Each of the robotic arms comes preloaded with a clean and dry cleaning kit. The robot does not have a robot vacuum of its own like its human counterpart, but the robotic arm does come with a washing machine so customers can leave their messy clothing to catch up with the robot.
The robot can then be used as a helper and as a demonstration.
