___ 7:57 - Liverpool 2-0 Manchester United Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has been criticised for his tactical decisions in the win over Manchester United and insists his players do not want to play the way the English champions play. ____ 8:19 - Harry Kane’s heroics in last 4 Liverpool-Sunderland Harry Kane has been the Reds’ first Premier League double winner since Rickie Lambert in 2004, and he has gone close to breaking through twice this season. The striker looked comfortable on his return to the action after a three-month absence, helping make a terrific start that has seen Liverpool lead the table for the first time. 7:30 - Leicester City 1-0 Manchester United Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel received the highest ever praise from manager Harry Redknapp after leading his players in a brilliant counter-attacking display. The goalkeeper looked calm, composed and comfortable in the face of a Leicester onslaught, including Christian Fuchs’ hat-trick from 12 yards. Leicester’s win leaves the Foxes second in the table behind Premier League leaders Manchester City, ahead of Manchester United. 8:59 - Man City 3-0 Arsenal In a match that showcased why managers want to start with a two-man defence, City’s defence couldn’t cope with the pace of Olivier Giroud, Alexis Sanchez, and Danny Welbeck up front. The trio all had chances as City stormed to a 3-0 win over Arsenal in the FA Cup third round. 13:15 - Spurs 1-1 Liverpool The two sides met twice in the Premier League this season. Mauricio Pochettino’s men were held 0-1 at the Etihad and 1-0 at White Hart Lane in April. The manager is a big fan of the striker who has scored 35 league goals in all competitions so far this season. 16:33 - Danny Rose’s Premier League record is at an end There is now just one Tottenham player who has broken into the 30-goal-range and, in the process, played in all 10 Premier League matches this season. Danny Rose reached his 200th Premier League goal just three weeks ago. 17:57 - A rare 1-1 in Manchester City This was a match we all expected to be a difficult one as everyone knows, but I thought it didn’t go far enough for us to win. We gave it our all, but Manchester City weren’t as good going forward as they needed to be in the end. 21:42 - Leicester 2-0 Manchester United Leicester and Manchester United are both just outside the relegation zone, so the two games will be closely watched in the next few weeks. The Foxes came within inches of winning the first leg and the tie at Etihad Stadium should be an interesting test for United. But there were some more disappointments, including the disappointment of the second half from Leicester, a result that takes them just 12th. 24:58 - Liverpool 2-2 Sunderland Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers told his players to attack “with passion” and “never just keep the ball for the last 15 minutes with the defence sitting in a corner”. It was a good night’s work. ___ 1:28 - West Bromwich Albion 1-1 Arsenal WBA have fallen well below the relegation zone, but have yet to beat a Premier League side for 44 years. There was a lot of talk that Arsene Wenger was interested in taking the side to the big time in the summer transfer window, but his side have been relegated after 16 games of the season - their worst record in the division in the Premier League era.

Michael Carrick, the outstanding performer for Manchester United this season, was in a bit of a funk against City. The Argentine was poor in the centre of midfield, allowing his team mates to get the better of
